Phillies 3, Mets 2
This game had the recipe for a Mets loss:
1) 44yo Jamie Moyer (sporting like a 8+ ERA in his last 5 starts) holds the Mets to two runs in seven innings.
2) A horrible umpire behind home plate
3) Predictably Willie decides not to squeeze with 1 out and Gomez on 3rd with reyes on 1st in the 8th; Castillo then strikes out (which he almost never does) and eventually Beltran strikes out with the bases loaded.
4) Aaron Heilman pitching in a tight game
Just a bad loss, now we have to take the next two to not only get revenge on the Phils, but to help us wrap up the N.L. East before this thing starts to get a 'lil dangerous.
