Over here in NYC we have a media that acts like it's a God-given right for the Yankees to make the playoffs every year. Well, too bad if they don't (and yeah Joe Torre and Brian Cashman definitely need to go if that happens). But if the Yankees somehow do win the wildcard this year, wouldn't it be great for us Yankee-haters if had to face the Angels, whom they never, ever beat in the playoffs, much less the regular season? Yeah, that'd be kinda nice.
