MLB Asks Jose Canseco For Help With Steroids

It's just funny to me all the media yahoos and so-called "experts" to continue to lampoon and diss Jose Canseco as being a joke. Yes, he's hard to like, but his credibility has been more than correct on steroids. And that's just a fact. Deal with it.

Roger Clemens Sure Is Defiant

Showing up at Astros camp in the middle of a possible probe by federal investigators while most people think you're lying and not taking any questions from the press? That's sheer and utter defiance.

Eric Gange Will Be Bust

Call me a skeptic, but I'm one of those who doesn't believe that Eric Gagne will ever return to the form that won him the Cy Young. And for cheating like he did, he doesn't deserve to ever be mentioned in the same sentence as the great Mariano Rivera no matter what he does from here on.

Marion Jones Gets 6 Months

Can't believe that there was even any lollygagging about her doing time. When you cheat your sport and consistently lie to the feds, you deserve to go to jail. Her children will survive without her and she probably won't have to do the whole 6 months anyway.

Roger Clemens Just Needs To Tell The Truth

If Roger Clemens really has never done steroids than he's doing the right thing by choosing to talk to Congress and filing a defamation suit against the trainer who said he did. However, it's still hard to get past the fact that Andy Pettitte proved Brian McNamee right and that Clemens had so many great years after Boston thought he was done some years ago and at such an older age. That said as of now I'm 50/50 that Clemens did the juice.

Derek Jeter Comes To Roger Clemens Defense

And DJ's right and so is Clemens lawyer for getting in the ass of all the pundits who incorrectly predicted that Jason Grimsley would be pulling Clemens steroid card. Not that all of this means that Roger's innocent.

Chuck Knoblauch Did Steroids?

Of all the people on the doping list Chuck Knoblauch surprised me the most (ok, well Andy Pettitte's name did too but I guess that's what you from hanging around Roger Clemens so much). I mean, I can't even recall Knoblaugh ever hitting for any decent amount of power or having one those "career" seasons most of the littler-known steroids users have (like Brady Anderson). But then I guess steroids does effect more than just power after all.

Will They Go After Roger Clemens Like They Have Bonds?

Now that the 'roids list is out, will the white-run sports media go after Roger Clemens with the same passion they have Barry Bonds? I doubt it.

Just Don't Let Piazza Be On The List

As much as I don't think he will be, as a Mets fan I would very hurt if it comes out that Mike Piazza did steroids when those names are released tomorrow.

Marion Jones Gets Her Just Desserts

Frankly, I don't buy the idea that Marion Jones never knew she was taking steroids. Her ex-husband C.J. Hunter once testified that he saw her injecting steroids, not putting stuff under her tongue. I wager that she did both. Now Marion will surely be stripped of those five Olympic medals, plus the former multimillionaire is now broke, her name is tarnished, the baby daddy of her first child ain't paying child support (she is married to the father of her newborn) and she faces felony jail time not only for steroids doping but check fraud. I can also see folks going after her for that prize money too. Sad story, but she brought it upon herself.

Floyd Landis Loses Tour de France Title

Barry Bonds has served as the face of steroids in sports mostly because he was chasing Henry Aaron's all-time HR record (or so the media has claimed), not because of his race or his relationship with scribes over the years. Well now that Bonds has broken the record and there's no concrete evidence that Bonds ever willingly used steroids, will Floyd Landis, who has shamed his sport beyond belief, get half the attention for using steroids as Bonds has gotten?
I highly doubt it.

Rick Ankiel Feelgood Story Could Be A Bust

If this news turns out to be true, than I'd love to see the media (esp. after they played up the "Roy Hobbs" angle so much) go after Ankiel the way they have Barry Bonds. However, I doubt that'll happen.

Could MLB Really Suspend Jason Giambi?

Looks like Bud Selig has had enough of semi-admitted steroid user Giambi. Can't say that I blame him.
