Gotta' admit that for an agent of a bench player to hold this much weight against a blockbuster trade is pretty impressive. By the way wasn't it Jason Kidd who wanted Byron Scott out as coach for Lawrence Frank not too long back? Almost get the feeling that there's a whole lot of karma working its way around this deal.

The Greatest Upset Ever?

To me, the more games you have to play the harder it is to pull off on upset in the NBA playoffs. Plus, considering the fact that the Mavericks won 67 regular season games this year, that they made to the Finals last year and everybody and their mother had them winning it all this year . . . than yes, this should go down as the greatest NBA playoffs upset ever.

The Mark Cuban Suicide Watch Is On

Seriously, if you're a Dallas Mavericks fan, not only are you concerned about your team staving off elimination tonight, but what owner Mark Cuban will do to your team (or himself) if they lose. Bottom line, either Dirk steps it up bigtime or all hell will break loose.

Warriors Not Just Happy To Be Here

Ok, it's only Game 1 of a best-of-7 series, but considering how much Baron Davis and the Warriors have had the Mavs number this season, if you're Mark Cuban you're sweating a few bricks right about now.
