Carlos Delgado Did The Right Thing
I have no problem at all with Carlos Delgado deciding not to come out for curtain call in today's game against Atlanta. Mets fans, who've had the nerve to boo Johan Santana (whose been great this season) this year, are too a fickle lot and as Delgado alluded to himself, it just wasn't the right time for a curtain call (two solo HR's after going 4-for-46 does not mean he's broken out of his slump). Besides, winning two out of three from the Braves is what matters most.
