Damn, with his free agency pending I was kind of hoping that the Mets could get Ichiro and put him in right field come '08. Funny tho' that this extension would happen so soon after Mike Hargrove surprised everybody and quit the other day. Word has it that Ichiro and Hargrove didn't get along.
