Game #1: Mets 6, Cardinals 1


Good start to the season. Glavine pitched great through the 6th inning, they got timely hits, sterling defense and Willie Randolph did the right thing by keeping Paul Lo Duca in the two hole. Can't believe that drunk Tony LaRussa had the nerve call Beltran "foolish" for successfully attempting to throw out David Eckstien at home in the 6th, but of course LaRussa thinks that he knows everything.
